Babington receive National IQM Award

We are proud to announce that Babington Academy has been named an IQM National Champion 2025 / 2026!

This prestigious award recognises schools across the UK that not only deliver exceptional inclusive practice but also share their expertise to help others. We are thrilled that Babington is now part of this network of schools, highlighting the incredible work of our staff, students, and community. 

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. With 48% of our students Pupil Premium and 63% living within the lowest decile for deprivation, we believe that every child deserves to feel they belong and can achieve. From our personalised ‘Flex’ curriculum and over 50 targeted interventions, to our expanding SLCN provision and strong partnerships with families and external agencies, we are committed to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all. 

This award is a moment of pride for our whole school community, it is also a beginning. As an IQM National Champion, Babington will now work with other schools to share ideas, showcase best practice, and continue to develop inclusive education both nationally and internationally.
